One of the biggest challenges my apartment block faces is that there are a number of car spaces that are currently not in use, but we can’t seem to agree on what to do with them.
This is the first time I’ve come across a solution that could work for everyone, from the tenants to the EC! The idea of a neutral third party taking care of it all is certainly appealing.
Have often had to photograph cars parking in my space illegally as evidence. Never had an issue as such with anyone, often have left these photos under the wiper of cars who are repeat offenders
My last building I lived in had similar issues. After much pressure the Strata fitted spaces with bollards that could be raised while not in use to prevent non-resident parking.
It seems unless signage is displayed to say that illegal parking is prohibited there is little anyone can do about the situation. You could always find someone you know to use the space during the day if they require it.
