We live in a fairly large strata apartment block and the hot water supply is very intermittent.
We are told by the building manager that the issue is with the thermostat mixing valve which is failing due to age and quite a number of apartments are facing the same issue.
Apparently these valves are located within each apartment and as such the BM says it is the individual owner’s responsibility to pay for their replacement. Is this correct?
