Waterproofing, the lack thereof or flaws therein, is consistently one of the most widely spread yet least understood issues in strata.
However, the Owners Corporation Network (OCN) is making a serious effort to bridge the information gap with a seminar next week.
“With today’s increased risk of building damage, defects, increased premiums and a risk adverse insurance market, our speakers are keen to offer a real world view of the market place and the risks in building insurance at the moment and how to mitigate these risks when it comes to waterproofing and water damage,” they say in a press release about their webinar
“The (water)proof is in the pudding! If you want to learn for yourself, join us on Zoom on Thursday March 16, from 1-2pm.”
The speakers will include:
- Daniel Caruana, CEO – Danrae Group – Waterproofing Experts
- Connie Yang, General Manager, AustBrokers ABS Strata
- Luke Scott, National Underwriting Manager, Longitude Insurance.
