No sooner had he returned to Sydney than JimmyT was back on air on the ABC’s Afternoons, although this time it was with Dom Knight, as usual host James Valentine was indisposed.
The Strata Matters section had a slightly different feel as they rattled through listeners’ questions which ranged from who was responsible for cracking walls and sinking foundations to whether a neighbour could object to a cat even though it was kept permanently indoors in the adjoining flat.
There was a listener who wanted to turn his half of a two-unit strata to Torrens title and another who was concerned that the hot water system in their new block was being heated by gas supplied from bottles rather than the main.
There was plenty more too. This was a high-energy, speed-dating version of the slot, so Jimmy and Dom got through a lot.
You can catch up with the show, if you missed it, on this link and whizz through to about 35 minutes in (although there’s lots of other interesting stuff elsewhere in the show too).
