We are branching out a little here at Flat Chat. Encouraged and maybe inspired by the fact that a lot of you like being able to lock up and leave your apartments and just take off on holiday, we are going to build closer links with our travel website Mildrover.com.
What is Mildrover? It’s a website for “seasoned travellers” – people who’ve been there, done that and want to go again or try somewhere new.
What’s in it? There are special deals from established companies like Luxury Travel and Tripadeal, many with significant savings.
There are cruises by the shiploads – all over the world with a variety of operators.
And there are our own stories and reviews from our extensive travels over the years.
Basically, the website is for people like us who love to travel … or just dream about travelling. If you live in an apartment, you’re halfway there already and each week on these pages we’ll highlight some of what’s on offer.
It’s entirely free and we’d love you to take a look, and even better, subscribe to the newsletter and pass it on to friends who also love to travel.
As for establishing ties with this website, when we can we are going to pick one travel offer or story to highlight on the Flat Chat Wrap podcast, as well as mention a couple of good offers right here.
Highlights
This week the podcast highlights a trip to the Berkley River Lodge in the Kimberley, where you can save almost $7000 on a five-night stay.
Our Deal of the Week would have to be The Kaamala Resort, Bali. This deal is for three nights from A$899/suite with a value of up to A$1700 and saving of up to 47%. Hotel and flight packages start at A$1,973 (Two Adults).
Our Cruise of the Week will take you to 43 ports in an 80-day sojourn to Alaska. That would be a dream voyage for anyone who loves seeing the world without having to unpack every time they hit a new destination.
Hope you find something to interest you here or on the Mildrover website.
