We encourage readers to quote parts of previouse posts when responding, especially when there is one specific point you wish to discuss.
However, we discourage block quoting, where you click on the quote button and the whole text is reproduced at the top of your reply as it just clogs up the Forum posts with quote upon quote upon quote.
Previously we suggested clicking on “quote” and the deleting the parts you aren’t specificaly referring to.
But now it’s much easier. If you want to reply to a specific point in a post, highlight that sentence, phrase or passage first, then click on the quote button and your reply window will open with only the higlighted text quotes at the top.
I will reply to this post myself, so you can see how that looks.
The opinions offered in these Forum posts and replies are not intended to be taken as legal advice. Readers with serious issues should consult experienced strata lawyers.
